HG Gundam Ground Type

A fan favourite OVA, this iteration of the Ground Gundam doesn't disappoint!

There's a ton of accessories in here in the form of a beam rifle, 2 beam sabers, detachable shield, 100mm machine gun and of course, the iconic 180 mm cannon, which can all be packed into it's weapons backpack!

For hand options, you get two open fist hands, one widespread hand and one trigger finger hand... which is coloured separately for some reason, but that's no big deal.

You'll have to fiddle around quite a bit to get the kit into it's shooting pose with the cannon, but the articulation is still pretty solid and you'll still be able to get some great poses with the lad, and once he's on he's knee he won't falter.

The shade of grey used here is great, and the surface detail of the kit really shines when panel lined.

The stickers in here are thankfully mostly for surface details, and you get quite a few to add whatever number you want to the shield! You'll have to use yellow paint for the vents under the knees if you want anime accuracy though.

I do have one gripe with this kit though- the torso poly cap will break away from the chest quite often out of the box, so you WILL have to strengthen it. Thankfully this is as simple as applying a bit of nail polish or prestick on the polycap itself, but this is something I, and other people I've recommended this kit to have reported back to me, so it's something to be aware of.

Ultimately however, you're getting A LOT here which is awesome. It's super easy to assemble too and looks great; a fantastic kit, especially if you're new to Gunpla!

Amazing articulation for a high grade, very fun build that is quite unique while still keeping the classic Gundam feel, highly recommend to new builders and long time builders.
