Happening on Saturday 21 March 2026 @ The Nexus Hub

Hosted at The Nexus Hub, 21 Harley Street, Johannesburg. Gather at 9:30AM and start at 10AM.

What is a Sealed Battle?

Sealed Battle is a game mode where, instead of bringing a pre-built deck, players open booster packs and build a deck using only the cards from those packs.

Sealed Battle Rules:

• Open your 4 booster packs provided with your entry.
• 30 minutes to make your deck. Must be exactly 30 cards.
• No colour restrictions when building the deck.
• You can include any number of cards with the same card number.
• Use your own Resource, EX Resource and EX Base cards.
• Swiss Draw for tournament format.
  *Depending on the situation on the day, the format may change to a tournament or the number of matches may change.
• 30 minutes per round.

Entry:

• R600 entry fee, online bookings and payment only.
• Limited to 24 players. First paid entries first in.
• Entry closes 20th March 2026, or once there’s 24 players. Whichever comes first.
• No entry on the day.
• Entry fee is not refundable.

Prizes:

• Booster Packs - Steel Requiem [GD03]
  1st Place: 5 booster packs, 2nd Place: 4 booster packs, 3rd Place: 3 booster packs.
• Some cool Gundam model kits as additional prizes!
• Depending on the number of players entering, the prize pool can be increased.
