This month's issue is a special feature on "brush painting" for the first time in about a year!! And before that, some people may have felt a strong sense of déjà vu on the cover of this month's issue. Yes, actually, this cover is a homage to the cover of the March 1981 issue, which was the first feature on Gundam in Monthly Hobby Japan.

As this is the opening feature titled "Mastering Gunpla with Brush Painting," we deliberately use the same "MG Dom" as the subject, and arranged examples that make full use of brush painting, which are the specialty of three professional modelers, to highlight the difference in coating.
To enjoy Gunpla, which has become even more passionate with "GQuuuuuX", and to help people learn about current brush painting scenes, we have everything from how to choose a brush and basic knowledge to basic lacquer brush painting, blending, and stamping. We introduce a wide range of brush painting options. Of course, we also provide detailed explanations on how to paint the three Doms on the cover!

We will bring you the depth of brush painting that gives you the freedom to find and enjoy the way you like.
